Several features are available for combination in the Value Packs:

• Backup - Includes a copy of the customer’s information in automated tape libraries (with technology DLT8000) with policies and backup windows for UNIX operating system (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux), Windows (NT, W2000) and special client devices for NAS (NDMP). In special cases (colocation / housing) InterHost will suggest the most appropriate solution, depending on the OS and hosted applications.

• SMTP / SMTP Relay (with AntiVirus and Antispam) – for customers who already have e-mail servers themselves and only want the service of anti-spam and anti-virus.
• Load Balancing - If a Customer wants to distribute the load of its web site among several web servers, InterHost manages the technology needed for this (Switches from the Alteon ISO level 4-7). This switching technology also increases the availability in the case of multiple servers.
• Server Administration - Includes the administration of the server or servers and their operation, including management changes and logs storage. It also includes administration tasks of common elements such as internal network (routers, switch, etc.). We can also provide the administration of a specific application.
• Full Monitoring – InterHost Operation Center has monitoring mechanisms that systematically and periodically check the proper functioning of the web server and other services associated with different TCP ports (DNS, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, Telnet, SMTP, POP). In case of no response, it triggers a mechanism to reset the machine and send a notification. It is a procedure for managing and monitoring the availability of the services. Along with the standard monitoring procedures, and always in accordance with Customer, other specific procedures for monitoring of other services and / or applications can be deployed.
• Streaming - Live or On Demand - With this service you can serve in streaming mode (live or compressed) multimedia content (video-audio). It involves the use of shared or own disk space for storage of content, a streaming server specific (InterHost) and a proxy server (InterHost). This service is intensive in bandwidth use so it is recommended a case by case detailed study
• Thawthe Security Certificates - we are notaries for Thawte certificates for your e-mail accounts and servers.
